Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of resistance of female characters in the drama script Senandung Dayang Derma by Rina Nazaruddin. The script tells the struggle of Dayang Derma's character to get freedom of speech over the slander that befell her lover Awang Mahmuda. Awang Mahmuda has been slandered to steal his stepfather's money so that his name is bad, and finally left the house. The slander was carried out by Awang Mahbungsu to get Dayang Derma as a prospective wife. Finally, the truth was revealed and Dayang Derma kept promising to hum the truth. Qualitative descriptive literature is the research method used, while literature study and content analysis are data analysis techniques. Borrowing the existentialist feminism theory of Simone de Beauvoir, the resistance of female characters is examined. Existentialist feminism is a study that reveals the efforts and efforts of women's movements in demanding gender equality with men. This movement removes the negative stigma of women who are weak, fragile, and only focus on household matters. The findings show that there are forms of resistance, such as freedom of ideology, courage to demand rights, and fighting negative stigma.

Abstract

Abstract : The research in title Talking Circle to Improve Students’ Speaking Ability aims : (1). To know how the teaching and learning of speaking which focused on language components using talking talking circle is, and (2). To describe the improvement of the junior high school students’ speaking ability. This research used a qualitative with Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research were 19 students of class IX SMP Muhammadiyah 27 Paciran Lamongan. The data was obtained from the process of teaching and learning by the tecnique of observation through observation sheet and vidio recording. The result of this research showed that the process of teaching and learning which focused on four language components using talking circle strategy could run well and the students’ speaking ability improved as well.

Abstract

Abstract This variety of qualitative phenomenological research raises specific topics about the social reality of the people of Rojopolo Village, Jatiroto District, and Lumajang Regency as an agricultural area with superior sugarcane commodities. Geographical, demographic, economic, social, and local cultural backgrounds are the center of the analysis. The period of data mining takes place from May 24 to 26, 2022 through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The focus of the researcher narrows on the meaning of the status symbol of rich farmers (represented by the land owners), based on things of high value in the constellation of society, including land tenure as a symbol of wealth, pilgrimage as a symbol of religiosity, higher education as a symbol of position, to achieve comparisons. Life orientation between farming families/sugarcane land owners and farm laborers. Thus, researchers can conclude that the symbol always operates and builds a certain social status.

Abstract

Abstact: Language style is very important for conveying meaning in a sentence that is used in everyday life. Whether or not the style of language used will have implications for people's assessment of the way of speaking and the meaning to be conveyed. This study uses a stylistic approach in analyzing the use of signs and understanding the meaning. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the study of the analysis of the form of expression, the type of reference and the function of the use of simile style in Boy Candra's novel Ingkar. Based on the theory of Keraf and Pradopo. The results of the study show that the forms of expression, types of references and functions of the simile style in the novel of refusal vary, namely the use of words such as, as if, bak, like and express descriptions. The types of references in the simile style include body parts, human traits and animal traits. The function of the simile style in the novel Ingkar by Boy Candra describes the condition of the body, human nature and animal nature, compares objects in concrete and abstract terms, describes situations or situations and human nature.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The analysis method used is financial ratio analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) the cash ratio in 2018-2020 is included in the bad criteria because it is still below the predetermined standard, the cash ratio value is 26.06%, 34.73%, 66.56%. (2) the DtAR in 2018-2020 has increased, namely 85.29%, 77.81%, 76.83% with unfavorable criteria. (3) the DtER in 2018-2020 there is quite an increase in the ratio, but it is still in bad criteria. (4) ROA in 2018-2020 fluctuated, namely 2.26%, 5.24%, 3.16% with fairly good criteria. (5) ROE in 2018-2020 fluctuated, namely 18.23%, 30.96%, 13.64% with good criteria. (6) the NPM in 2018-2020 fluctuated, namely 33.75%, 62.06%, 58.47% with very good criteria. The Mawar Jatim needs to increase its cash and should reduce the amount of its debt. ,

Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this research is the COVID-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia. The world of education has had a huge impact. The government's solution to keep the learning process going is online learning. The purpose of this research is to find out whether online learning can support the learning process at home. So the researchers conducted a study entitled "Electronic Media Assisted Learning in the Conditions of the Covid-19 Pandemic". This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The aim is to describe online learning of Indonesian lessons for the 2020-2021 academic year for the even semester at UPT SDN 34 GRESIK. The research subjects were principals, teachers, and 4th grade elementary school students. The research procedure is to determine the problem, research and conclusions. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Research instruments: 1. Observation, 2. Interview, 3. Questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are reduction, display, and conclusion verification. The results of the observation of the formulation of the problem, namely: Online learning using smartphone, laptop/computer media. The obstacles faced are quotas and signals. While the things that support that is from the school, teachers, parents, and the government. Based on the results of interviews, it is known that online learning is more difficult than face-to-face learning. While the results of the questionnaire most of the respondents liked face-to-face learning. Researchers hope that online learning can run smoothly, with cooperation between teachers, students and parents. Keywords: , ,

Abstract

Abstract: This paper discusses Clifford Geertz's thoughts on religion as a cultural system. Geertz is an American cultural anthropologist. According to Geertz, religion and culture are an inseparable unit. Through an interpretative-anthropological approach, Geertz wants to see all religions directly through the eyes of their adherents. This approach is separated from functionalism and reductionism and is more towards an appreciation of the peculiarities of the human dimensions of religion, as well as the ideas, attitudes and goals that arise from these religions. An interpretive anthropological approach is applied by Geertz through a case study in Bali and also a comparison between Indonesia and Morocco. In Bali, Geertz classifies the Balinese religion into traditional religion because this religion contains polytheism, local people's mythology and almost no rational nuances in their theology even though they call it Hinduism. Meanwhile, from the Indonesia-Morocco comparison, Geertz found three differences regarding religious activities, namely the first classical Islamic model. Second, the challenge of the scripturalists. Third, outlook on life and ethos.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is based on the problem of developing the Gunung Ratu tourist attraction which then has an impact on the economy of the local community in Sendangrejo Village, Ngimbang District, Lamongan Regency. The problem studied is the efforts to develop the Gunung Ratu tourist attraction and the impact of the development on the local community's economy. This research will be quite interesting because the object under study has modern forms of development combined with history and religion that contribute to the development of the Gunung Ratu tourist attraction which has an impact on the economy of the local community. The purpose of the study was to find out how the impact of the Gunung Ratu tourist attraction on the economy of the local community in Sendangrejo Village. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data obtained in this study were sourced from the results of interviews, observations and documentation from parties related to Gunung Ratu tourism. The results of research in the field indicate that the development carried out for the Gunung Ratu tourist attraction is in the form of infrastructure in tourist areas, motorbike paragliding rentals, and horse rentals. With the formation of this development, local community benefit, such as increased income, the emergence of jobs. Community needs are met, control and ownership are still fully held by the community.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Space and time are cosmological issues that present a long dialogue between philosophers and scientists. Whether space and time are objective or subjective, dynamic or fixed. The method used in writing this article is descriptive qualitative with a literature approach. The results of the analysis of the concept of space and time in Muhammad Iqbal's philosophy to understand the essence of the creation of the universe, namely Iqbal based the process of creating the universe on the Qur'an, the continuation of time in 6 periods / day. Space as a container of things, and for Iqbal the quality of travel in time is the most significant aspect of experience, receives special emphasis in the Qur'an, which provides the best clues about the true nature of reality. The essence of time for Iqbal is spiritual. The basic nature of reality is spiritual, the time spent is filled with spiritual strengthening, by subduing the human ego, the God entity within him will unite. God's space and time by the Qur'an is called the unul kitab with a universe that is free from the network of causes and effects compiled from one super-eternal present.
